Vision UK 2011 conference

Vision UK 2011 is the only conference that offers the opportunity to engage with the whole of the eye health and sight loss sector.
The day focused on the changing external environment, discussing the 'Big Society,' commissioning changes and the recent advances in technology. It addressed the potential risks we need to manage and the opportunities we need to grasp as a sector. In addition, it incorporated the Techshare Mobile event and feature technological innovation as a key element of the day.
Comments from delegates included:
"I attended the Children and Young People Masterclass - wow, what an inspiration that lot were!"
Catharine Sharman, The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
"I thought it was an excellent event, professionally managed, with very good content and just the right tone balancing realism, practicality and enthusiasm.  The launch for the guidance was also very good and seeing the guidance online really brings it together as a practical document."
Stuart Holland, Public Affairs, College of Optometrists.
